The Reel Connections Learning Hub

Online Courses Terms & Conditions

When booking onto any of our online courses you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Cancellations & refunds

Course bookings can be refunded up to 14 days after payment has been processed, unless the course begins within this 14 day period.

After these 14 days, we cannot offer refunds unless we are able to fill your course place through a waiting list. If there are extenuating circumstances as to why you cannot do the course please contact us to discuss.

Please note that we cannot offer refunds if you leave the course after it has started or are unable to attend all or any part of the course.

Bookings

Your place on the course is confirmed once payment has been processed.

If for any reason you are unable to pay immediately but would definitely like to attend the course, although we cannot guarantee we will be able to hold a place do contact us to discuss.

Changes to the course programme

Reel Connections reserves the right to make changes to the advertised course programme. In the unlikely event that we have to change a course tutor, we will endeavour to provide participants with as much notice as possible, and to ensure we replace the tutor with somebody with relevant experience and credentials. Please note that if we do have to change a tutor or elements of the course programme, our standard terms still apply.

In the unlikely event we have to cancel a course, we will offer you an alternative course or refund you your full course fee.

Transferring courses

If you decide you would like to change courses to one of our other courses on offer you may be able to transfer your place, subject to availability. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis so please contact us to discuss.

Where we are able to transfer courses, if the fee for the new course is less than the original payment we will refund the difference. If the fee for the new course is more than the original payment, we will arrange to invoice you for the remaining amount.

Please note that we can only transfer a booking to a course that is happening within the same calendar year, and can only offer one transfer per participant

Participant conduct and safety

Our ethos at Reel Connections is to create a supportive and accessible learning environment, this relies on the tolerance and respect of both our tutors and participants.

We positively encourage lively debate and discussion during the course, whilst keeping sessions relaxed, friendly and welcoming for everyone. We request that all participants are respectful of tutors and fellow participants, especially when sharing any creative work and opinions with the group.

Reel Connections reserves the right to refuse a place, and to remove a participant from a course if they behave in a way which is disrespectful, offensive or disruptive. This will be decided by the course tutor and our Director. Please note that we will be unable to offer a refund under these circumstances.

Feedback and complaints

We hope that you will enjoy your learning experience with us, and we will make every effort to provide a high quality course programme and environment. You will be given the opportunity to provide feedback at the end of every course.
