Our Young Film Programmers group Film East partnered with this year’s Young Norfolk Arts Festival to offer two great free online events for film enthusiasts of all ages!
If you missed them, you can now watch creative writing tutor and illustrator Ian Nettleton guide young audiences through the process of creating your own characters and stories inspired by My Neighbour Totoro. Suitable for ages 4+
For older audiences, check out our conversation with film locations manager Crispin Buxton. Crispin has worked on films including Possum, The Souvenir and Danny Boyle’s Yesterday (all featuring scenes shot in Norfolk and Suffolk).
These events were programmed by Film East, a group of Young Film Programmers based at Norwich Theatre’s Stage Two.
